Where do you deliver to?
With our own fleet of articulated lorries we can deliver to almost anywhere within Ireland, however, delivery is dependent on a number of factors which our Sales Team will be happy to discuss further with you.
How much does Delivery cost?
Delivery charges are based on your distance from our site in Kill, Co. Kildare. Please get in touch with us and any of our Sales Team will be happy to discuss further.
What is the lead time on delivery?
Most deliveries can be made within 15 working days depending on stock levels at the time of order, though we will endeavour to get your items to you earlier if possible.
Do I have to be in when my order is being delivered?
Once your delivery date has been confirmed one of our team will contact you with the details. Your delivery driver will also contact you on the day before or the day of your delivery. We do require that your delivered items are signed for, however, if you cannot be home and are happy for your goods to be delivered to an alternative location (i.e. a neighbours property) then just let us know and we can make the necessary arrangements.
Can I collect from PDM?
Absolutely. We have a trade counter on site where you order product, pay using any of our payment methods available, and take it away then and there.
We are happy to refund unwanted items that are returned to us within 30 days of delivery and still in a re-saleable condition. However a 20% restocking fee will be applied.
Please enclose a note quoting your order number, the items you wish to return, and stating that the items are unwanted and you are requesting a refund.

Incorrect or Faulty Items
Should you receive any items that you did not order, or that prove to be faulty within 30 days of delivery and have not yet been erected, we can organise for your item to be collected and returned. For this service please call a member of our team on +353 45 877 165.
Alternatively, if you wish to send an item back yourself then you can do so to the address below. In this instance the responsibility of the delivery is down to you, and so you may wish to send goods by registered courier. We are not liable for goods that do not reach us.
Please enclose a note quoting your order number, what you are returning, the nature of the fault, and specifying whether you require the correct item to be sent out, or a refund.

What treatments do you offer?
We use 2 types of treatment oil, Creosote (our most popular), and AC500 (Tanalith) which are designed to impregnate the treatment oil into the cells of the timber under high pressure conditions. Please contact us directly if you require products treated in AC500 as we primarily treat to order for these products.
What is Creosote?
Creosote is a category of carbonaceous chemicals formed by the distillation of various tars and pyrolysis of plant derived material, such as wood or fossil fuel. The major chemicals in coal tar creosote are polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), phenol and creosols. Creosote is also a pesticide.
Are your products responsibly sourced?
PDM adopts the PEFC standard with respect to the sourcing of its wood raw materials. PEFC stands for Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, and our commitment to this standard demonstrates our drive for sustainable solutions in our material sourcing. Sustainable forest management certification assures that forests are managed in line with challenging environmental, social and economic requirements. A Chain of Custody certification tracks forest-based products from sustainable sources to the final product. It demonstrates that each step of the supply chain is closely monitored through independent auditing to ensure that unsustainable sources are excluded.
What quality assurances do you provide?
Besides our commitment to sustainable sourcing through PEFC certification, PDM’s products are also certified to IS 435 and IS 436. We pay a lot of attention to our supply chain to ensure that we have a consistent grading of product to meet market needs. Our quality team regularly visit our suppliers to ensure our exacting standards are being met.
What warranty is provided on your products?
We offer a 15 Year guarantee on creosoted products. If it is proven there has been a failure, within this period, due to the treatment process we will replace the affected product or provide a full refund.
