On December 23^rd 1998 PDM received an Integrated Pollution Control Licence from the Environmental Protection Agency in Wexford.

This was necessary to carry out the following activity:

•  The treatment or protection of wood, involving the use of preservatives with a capacity exceeding 10 tonnes per day

 We are the only company in Ireland to have this licence for treating with creosote.

 In December 2002 PDM were granted ISO 14001:2004 from the National Standards Authority of Ireland and are audited twice a year.

In December 2002 PDM were also granted ISO 9001:2000 quality award. We have now been granted the updated version of this quality system to ISO 9001:2008. The National Standards Authority of Ireland audited twice a year also on our quality system and we have 6 quality meetings a year internally.

• We have a company manual and environmental procedures for all the activities carried out on our site relating to the environment.
• Procedures and work instructions are in place for all the activities that are carried out here at our facility.
